| Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program () This is the sconed Kodak Printer that I have reviewed during the terminal ii months. The first was the Kodak ESP Part 2170. I was very pleased with that printer and equally pleased with this one. In addition, I accept an HP and Canon MP 640. Compared to the HP and Canon, the Kodak printers have the slight edge. For instance the Catechism and HP use 5 ink cartridges and the Kodak printers apply 2. I detect myself ever looking for a unmarried cartridge of ane of the colors and so having to order it. Particularly the Canon which for some reason requires two blackness cartridges this is absurd. Both of my Kodak printers utilize the same ink cartridges and now I don't have to deal with multiple vendors for two printers. Also the paper loading on the Kodak printers is as easy equally it gets. The Canon design is poor in this area.I haven't done whatever studies on the utilize of ink, merely it seems to me that due to the dual cartridge methodology, the Kodak requires less ink worries equally information technology requires less cartridges to purchase and continue in inventory. The installation of the Kodak C315 was a piece of cake that is as long as yous read the directions (which I never initially practise). So after getting ticked off because the Microsoft Windows 7 installer failed, I read the manual and constitute that you have to initiate the installation from the printer, not the PC. This is different than most printers I've used equally you more often than not apply the Microsoft install printer wizard. THIS WILL NOT Work ON WINDOWS vii. So I was very pleased that the press and scanning was so constructive at only threescore% of bespeak strength. I printed pictures and they are stunningly articulate and focused. You can load individual half-dozen 4 glossies or upwards to 20 at a time. The ink was dry as the film was coming out of the printer. I then used the scanner. Again, you accept to initiate from the printer, Not the Windows 7 computer. But this does make sense in that you can stand anywhere in the house and scan your certificate at the printer. When y'all are finished, then you tin can go to the computer and the document is waiting for you in a pdf format and the pages combined into a single certificate. This is a really nice characteristic.Again, I feel that Kodak is making huge strides in the printer market and providing user friendly features that other printers are non. |
